Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our Birth to Three Team in Waukesha County! ๐
The Birth to Three Program, guided by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), supports families by building their capacity to improve their child's functional development. As a Physical Therapist, you'll provide evaluations, family support, and ongoing early intervention services in natural environments, helping children thrive through parent-child interaction and functional skill development.
๐ง What You'll Do
- ๐ง Complete eligibility evaluations and developmental assessments
- ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ Provide early intervention services based on family-driven priorities
- ๐งฉ Coach families using strategies that promote everyday skill development
- ๐ค Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team during IFSP meetings
- ๐ Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team planning
- ๐งโ๐ซ Share expertise to support adult learning for parents and caregivers
- ๐ก Deliver services in homes and community settings at times convenient for families
- ๐ Engage in ongoing professional development to ensure best practices

๐ Qualifications
- ๐ Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (required)
- ๐งโ๐ฆฝ 2+ years of pediatric physical therapy experience preferred
- โ Licensure in Physical Therapy from the State of Wisconsin (or applicable state)
- ๐ช Strong commitment to family-centered care and early intervention
- ๐ป Comfortable with technology for documentation and remote work
- ๐ง Knowledge of IDEA, Birth to Three regulations, and early childhood development
- ๐ค Ability to work with diverse populations and build strong relationships
๐ Requirements
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
- Satisfactory driving record (MVR check required)
- Must pass caregiver background check
- Daily travel required; occasional overnight travel may be needed
