Doctors of Physical Therapy is looking for a Physical Therapist to maintain our excellent patient care standards with one-on-one care while cultivating dynamic relationships with patients and team members in our Minocqua, WI location.  This position can begin as a staff therapist with the option to become Clinic Director.  If that is not your desire, you can remain a staff PT.  This position offers a signing bonus!

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy initial evaluations according to APTA standards
• Develop a comprehensive plan of care for each patient based on initial evaluation findings.
• Understand reimbursement standards by insurance carrier and be able to design a clinically superior patient program that allows for heightened patient success.
• Demonstrate consistent Compliance excellence by (not limited to):
• Develop short and long-term goals for patients
• Implement plan of care
• Provide comprehensive therapy treatment to improve patient well-being and return to optimized functionality.
• Consistently report patient progress to referring physicians and other professionals involved in the ongoing treatment of the patient.
• Create and document home exercise plans for patients to improve benefits of physical therapy.
• Plan and execute discharge of patient
• Maintain contemporary knowledge in physical therapy practice through educational workshops, continuing education, etc.
• Communicate with stakeholders in a professional manner including, but not limited to, other health care professionals, insurance companies, third party payers, case managers, etc.
